Rudkach as written in a document is not how you would see the name written on a map. I do not understand Polish writing rules but the ...kach ending seems to be a generic ending that can replace any ending that you might find on a map like ...iec; or ...ice; or ...ski; or ...ow; etc. The correct place name could be Rudka but it might also be something like Rudkow, etc.

The closest match I could find in the Lipno region was Ruda and there are two of them. One is about 19 km ENE of Lipno just west of the road to Rypin. The other is 33 km NE of Lipno.

I could not find an exact match for your Louise / Ludwicka Rienas in this area. There are too many Rienas in our database for me to browse through to see where the families may have lived. We do also have some Kleister families living in the Lipno region, one at Grabiny and another at Sumin. With more detailed research you might be able to find connections.

You asked Jan in another message about why some records are in the Catholic Church. Churches were obligated to collect records on behalf of the civil government. These are the records we use for our research. Before the Lutheran Church was established in a location, the Germans would have been obligated to register at the Catholic Church.
