I ... read the Wolhynien Forum. I noted that in January there were a number of entries regarding Wittlief Vorfahren. I did not participate in the exchange as my ability to write German is limited. ...

My grandparents were Ludwig Quast and Anna Christine Wittlief who married in 1850 in Shitomir Parish. Anna Christine was born in 1831 in Poland. I suspect her parents were Christoph Wittlief and Anna Christina Gall. Are you aware of any source that would substantiate were in Poland Anna Christine was born, or any other information regarding her?
