Family Essenburg

Hello!

My name is Theresa, and I’m writing from Germany.

I’m researching my Essenburg family history and came across a message posted by Conrad Essenburg from southern Brazil in the Volhynia genealogy forum in 2017.

My great-grandfather was Gottlieb Gustav Essenburg, born on October 21, 1905. His daughter Elsa, born in 1942, is my grandmother.

According to our family history, two of Gottlieb’s brothers emigrated to Brazil and Canada. Both later visited him in East Germany with their wives during the 1960s.

I would love to reconnect with our relatives in Brazil and Canada and learn more about our shared family history.

If you are part of this family, or know someone who might be, I would be very happy to hear from you!

Warm greetings from Germany,
Theresa
