Hey Graeme Bailey,

My grandmother often tells me about her mother and her mother's sister and how they had to flee a Russian village.

My grandmother Hildburg is the daughter of Else Schettler, later Bastigkeit, and her sister was named Tamara Schettler.

Tamara emigrated to Australia with her husband and had three children. I know them as JJ (who has since passed away), Tolly, and Alex.

My grandparents Hildburg and Hartmut visited relatives in Cairns, Australia, five times.

Unfortunately, I don't know much more. I only know that Tamara and Else had two brothers, Rudolf and Reinhold.

I've always wanted to learn more about my family history and would be very happy to receive a reply.
