The "Metalowka" on Polish websites is about "heavy metal" music. It is not about a place.

There is no such place as Metalowka in either Volhynia or Poland. The person who extracted the information from the original microfilm probably had difficulty reading the writing and entered the information to the database incorrectly.

You should get a copy of the original record to see if you can get a better understanding of the correct spelling.
