DRESCHEL aus Chodorkow

Ich bekam eine Anfrage zu Chodorkow, Kreis Shitomir, aber ich finde den Ort nicht in der Ortsliste des Gouvernements Wolhynien von 1908. Lag er vielleicht im Gouvernement Kiew? Jerry, do you know what parish Chodorkow would be in? Abt. 1932.

lt. Jerrys Karten gehörte der Ort zum Kirchspiel Radomysl.

Danke, Gerhard, dort hatte ich gar nicht nachgesehen. Inwischen habe ich aber herausgefunden, daß Chodorkowo zur Gubernia Kiew gehörte: http://www.angelfire.com/or/yizkor/kiev.html.

Da bleibt nur noch zu hoffen, daß der Index zu den Kirchenbüchern des Kiewer Gebietes bald in der Odessa Digital Library erscheint.

We are just beginning the extraction of the Kiew parish records. It will probably be at least a year before they are complete.

Officially, the people who run the Pixel site do not have permission at this time to have extractions on line. It requires the permission of both the LDS who have the microfilms and the St. Petersburg Archive. They are working on this but we don't know when it will be resolved as it is difficult to communicate with the Archive. Until that happens, no new material will be posted.

However, we are proceding with the project and will find some way to allow people to request the information even if it cannot be searched directly on the Internet.
