Yes - Howard has been to Volhynia several times and has conducted tours there.

My grandfather, Kristof Frank, was also born in Nowa Wies Parish but only lived there for a few years. Most of the time before and after the family lived in Gostynin parish.

thank you. I didn't know that Howard visited the county. A few weeks ago we recognized that we are cousins.

It was interesstig for me to know where Niezpodzianka is located. So I can determine when they wondered to Wolhynia because my great grandfather had 10 childrens, 8 of them were born in Nowa Wies near Wladylawow, the last two in Horodischtsche and Niezpodzianka.

Howard Krushel has visited this region and he told me that the Niezpodjanka villages and others around it were located on Soviet military land. That is why the names are no longer on the maps.

Niespodzianka (Polish name - it means 'surprise') I, II and III were north from Tuczyn, you can find at http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/digkonyv/topo/200e/44-51.jpg.

However, when you look at http://sunsite.berkeley.edu:8085/x-ussr/100k/M-35-042.jpg, which shows more recent picture (1986) you will see that all those villages are gone. The only remaining name is Tuczyn/Tuczyn/Тучин, Zylenka/Жалянка and Majdan Pustomotskij/Пустомытский Майдан.
