Sorry about the bad english (I`m spanish spoken). I wonder if I could get this important help from you. I`m Gerardo Groehn Rivarola, from Asunción - Paraguay (South America) and trying to find official records or any kind of information about or related to my german-grandparents, specifically about my grand-father, in order to manage my european passport. This is because the German Embassy in Paraguay asks for any official or original document as the Deutsches Reise-Pass, military record or anything that could probe his german origin or nacionality.

Any detail as recomendation will be extremely appreciated. Here are some information about my grand-father:

Name: Willy Samuel Alfred GROEHN BOUVAIN.-
Born: MAY 19, 1884.-
City: Lyck - Ostpreussen (East Prussia).
Father: Julius GROEHN
Mother: Emma BOUVAIN

Willy Samuel Alfren GROEHN (my grand-father) fought at the World War I at the german navy, after that he emigrated to South-America, possibly from Hamburg to Bs.As, Argentina port. Continuing to Paraguay to settled down in Horqueta-Concepción cities from Paraguay where he finally died. They came from Germany possibly between 1917 to 1920.

He married in Germany with Anna Selma ROTHE ROTH (my grand-mother) with whom he came by with to Paraguay.
