The village of Wolka was NE of Rowno, just south of the Horyn River. It is no longer on modern maps of the area but was just a km or so east of Korczyn which you can find on map http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/EART/maps/x-ussr/M-35-041.jpg.

An alternate name for this village was Marcelindorf.

Koordinaten: Waag. 84 + Senkr. 90 / in Russisch ausgesprochen : "Wolitza" .. dürfte der Ort "Wulka" sein.

Finally I have been able to locate a map on which the town Rowne is located. Near that town a small village, called Kollonie Wulka, must have been. That is the place where my father, Daniel Lilke, was born.
Does anyone hve some information on that place or my family name in the vicinity of Rowne, Wulka or Tuscyn (my grandfather`s place of birth)?
