Rawe is the town of Rawa Mazowiecka, east of Lodz. Petrikau is the town of Petrkow Trybunalski, southeast of Lodz. Both are large towns and Lutheran Parish centres. Perhaps your ancestors actually lived in a nearby village.

I am presently doing research and extractions for the village of Kochanow in the Rawa Parish where many Germans lived. The surname PESLER exists in those records but I have not yet looked at the information for 1815. If you email me personally in about 3 to 4 weeks, I may have some information for you.

Gottlieb ist etwa 1815 in Rawe, Petrikau geboren und laut Odessa Library 1878 in Helenow gestorben. Seine Frau Juliane lebte von 1846 bis 1879. Aus dieser Ehe sind folgende Kinder bekannt : Justina *1867 +1875, Emilie *1870 +1906, Juliane *1872 +1874.

Wer kann Näheres zu dieser Familie hinzufügen ? Wo könnte der Ort Rawe, Petrikau liegen ?
